Our Story

Gaetano Sapio is a passionate chef born in Napoli (Naples – Italy) with over 20 years of experience cooking Italian cuisine in Italy and Australia. Gaetano and his wife Karina, the friendly couple have worked in variety of Italian Restaurants around Perth. Gaetano was only 16 years old when he first started his journey in Napoli learning aside different maestro chefs before moving to Australia, whilst Karina has a vast experience in hospitality and customer service.

Gaetano Cucina which means Gaetano’s Kitchen was born as a result of their dream of owning their own restaurant and pursuing their passions in providing excellent dining experiences for the locals. Their goals are to bring their style and concept of cooking Italian food and excel in customer satisfaction.
